Community Information

Spring election information for April 4, 2017:
If you are interested in local government, have an interest in what happens in your community or feel you can help…consider becoming a village board member.

The election this year has the following seats up for election: President (1), trustee (3). The deadline for being on the ballot has expired, but you can still be a write-in. For the Village President seat you MUST register. We only have one seat and there is one candidate on the ballot so any write-ins need to be registered (no write-in votes are counted if the write-in named is not registered). To be a registered write-in you will need to complete a Campaign Registration Statement by clicking here or you may complete it in person at the Village office. To be a write-in for a trustee it is HIGHLY recommended that you register as a write-in. The Campaign Registration Statement needs to be completed no later than noon March 22nd (the office will be closed from 12pm on 3/22 until 12pm on 3/31). Be sure to let the community know you are running as a write-in as it can’t be posted at the polling location.

Village Board of Trustee meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Village Hall/Fire Station Building.  All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend any or all of these meetings held at 113 Dougherty Ct.  Notices are posted at the Ridgeway Village Office, Farmers Savings Bank-Ridgeway Branch & Village Website.  The Village Office regular hours are Monday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (by appointment) and CLOSED FRIDAYS.
