Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Information

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) is encouraging Wisconsin households struggling to pay for internet service to enroll in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). The program provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households. A household is eligible if a member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below:
• Has an income that is at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines; or
• Participates in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline;
• Participates in Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations;
• Is approved to receive benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision in the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school year;
• Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year; or
• Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider’s existing low-income program.
Eligible households can enroll by visiting or by contacting participating broadband providers. For customers that need additional assistance, call the FCC’s information line at 877-384-2575.

Tree Removal Services

Mil’s Tree Service will be cutting down trees around the village within the next few weeks. If you have trees on your property that you would like taken down, contact Aaron at 608-341-0203.

Sign Up for Baseball!

PLAY BALL! The Village of Ridgeway Park and Recreation Commission is looking at sponsoring summer baseball programs for the youth in the Village of Ridgeway and Town of Ridgeway. The summer baseball programs being offered will depend on the number of participants interested. If specific age groups do not have enough participants or coaches, we will not have a baseball team for those ages. It is very important to complete the form and return it to the Village Office by Friday, April 1st, 2022. More details will be available once numbers are finalized.

The Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) is partnering with members of the Wisconsin Community Action Program Association to assist eligible households impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and need help with their rent, utilities, and/or other housing stability.
