2021 Road Construction Updates

  1. Crews will be prepping for asphalt on Thursday, November 11, 2021 on Keane and Hughitt Streets.
  2. Iverson Construction will install binder course of hot mix asphalt (HMA) on Hughitt Street.   This will take place on Friday, November 12, 2021. Surface course of asphalt will be completed next year.

Ridgeway Community Center Class: What Would WWBIC Do?

If you’re looking to start a business or need resources for the business you already have, this FREE class is for you! The Ridgeway Community Center will be hosting WWBIC (WWBIC Southwest Office) and their class, ‘What Would WWBIC Do?’ on November 15th. WWBIC helps with starting, strengthening or expanding businesses with access to resources and classes. Covid-19 Testing Locations

If you’re looking to get tested for Covid-19, here are some local options. The ICHD offers FREE COVID-19 testing (PCR/molecular laboratory test) every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am-11:00am at the HHS building in Dodgeville. No appointment is necessary but pre-registration is strongly recommended. https://register.covidconnect.wi.gov/en-US/


Ridgeway’s Community Park Survey

The Village of Ridgeway and the Park and Recreation Commission are currently putting together a Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) which will help guide decisions for future improvements to the Village’s facilities. Please take a few short minutes to answer the questions and help us understand how local recreational areas are used and what you, as local residents, would like to see. Trunk-or-Treat – Sunday, October 31st

It’s almost time for Halloween! Trunk-or-Treat will be held in the Ridgeway Community Center parking lot on Sunday, October 31st. We will have a costume contest for some of the best dressed and some special treats!  If you’re interested in having your own trunk, please contact the village office at 608-924-5881 to sign up.

Iowa County Solar Group Buy Information Presented by Legacy Solar Co-op

On October 13th from 10am to 4pm, the Ridgeway Community Center Library will host Peter Fiala from Legacy Solar Co-op, a statewide membership organization consisting of individuals, institutions and installers growing solar in Wisconsin. Legacy Solar Co-op, in collaboration with Iowa County CLEA-N and solar installer Timmerman’s Talents, present the Iowa County Solar Group Buy. This opportunity is a chance for residents, small businesses and nonprofits to learn about solar, what it costs and how they and Iowa County benefits.
