Friday, May 14 2021 the village office is closing at 11:00 am (we apologize for any inconvenience, call the number below for urgent matters)

Monday, May 17 2021 the village office will be closed

Tuesday, May 18 2021 the village office will be open at 208 Jarvis Street


The Village Clerk/Treasurer is available at 608-574-1797 to answer any questions. If you need to arrange for a bulk pickup item we can still do that – please call for an appointment. (Deadline remains Tuesday May 18 at Noon)

DROPBOX INFORMATION: Farmer’s Savings Bank will get the village any items/materials/payments for the village that are left in their night depository box located at 609 Main Street in Ridgeway.

The green drop box in front of the fire station will be relocated and details will be shared when available.

Community Library Available!

The Ridgeway Volunteer Library IS OPEN TODAY, Wednesday May 5, 2021 at 10 am. The Library is located at the new Ridgeway Community Center, 208 Jarvis Street. The library will be open each Wednesday from 10 am to 6 pm. More days and hours will be added as volunteers are available. Services available include books for checkout, free WiFi, computers, SWLS Van Delivery and snapshots of Ridgeway Village history. Please stop in and visit your community public library. 👻

Water Tower Painting and Repair – Update

Seven Brother’s Painting, inc. will be preparing/mobilizing for work the week of May 10. Work will begin the week of May 17.

The Village Water Tower Painting and Repair Project will begin the week of May 3, 2021. Below is a note from MHTC. Other companies with antennas on the tower are also working with village engineers and contractors. Work on the village water tower is anticipated to be completed by the start of June. Feel free to contact the village office with any questions or concerns.

MHTC Customers – Starting the week of May 3, 2021, the Village of Ridgeway will begin the process of painting the water tower. MHTC’s wireless antennas that serve you are mounted on the Village water tower. MHTC has been working with the Village and the contractors involved in the project to continue to provide service throughout this time, estimated to be four weeks. We will do our best to continue to provide you service during this time.  Please be patient as service may be intermittent at times.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are experiencing a prolonged service outage. Drug Take Back Day is April 24

The next Drug Take Back Day is April 24, 2021. The Wisconsin Department of Justice provides an interactive map of participating collection site  across Wisconsin. Households may safely dispose of prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, creams, non-aerosol sprays, vials and pet medications. Past Drug Take Back Days have collected over 68,000 pounds of prescription medications, keeping them out of lakes, rivers and drinking water.

Many of the participating sites are available year-round, not just on Drug Take Back days.
