If you are interested in local government, have an interest in what happens in your community, or feel you can help…consider becoming a village board member.
The Village Board this year has the following seats up for election: President (1), trustee (3). The deadline for being on the ballot has expired, but you can still be a write-in. For the Village President you MUST register. We only have one seat and there is one candidate on the ballot so any write-ins need to be registered (no write-in votes are counted if the write-in named is not registered). To be a registered write-in you will need to complete a Campaign Registration Statement by clicking here or you may complete it in person at the Village office. To be a write-in for a trustee it is HIGHLY recommended that you register as a write-in. The Campaign Registration Statement needs to be completed no later than noon March 22nd (the office will be closed from 12pm on 3/22 until 12pm on 3/31). Be sure to let the community know you are running as a write-in as it can’t be posted at the polling location. The election is April 4, 2017.
Spring Primary to be held on February 21st.

Planning & Development Committee update:
The residential development project that was being discussed has been put on hold for now. Some additional background work needs to be done before the project can continue. In the meantime, the committee will begin working on updating the Comprehensive http://www.besttramadolonlinestore.com Plan. They will start meeting after the holidays. There are no regularly scheduled meetings at this time. When a meeting date has been scheduled it will be posted at the Village Hall, Ridgeway Farmers Savings Bank and on the village website.
The broken water main has been located, fixed and is now back in service. Thank you to all those affected for your understanding and patience during the interruptions of service.
WATER MAIN UPDATE
For those affected by the water main break last night and today December 18 & 19, 2016:
The water has been turned back on but it will be shut back off at a later time this evening (probably between 8-9). We have not been able to locate the break. We will keep you updated through this page and on the Village Facebook.
Also, check your basements for any possible water seeping in from the break. If you have water seeping in contact Jeff at 608-669-0977 or Lori at 608-574-1797.
Please share this with those that may be affected and not see this or be on Facebook. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
