Village Board of Trustee meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Village Hall/Fire Station Building. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend any or all of these meetings held at 113 Dougherty Ct. Notices are posted at the Ridgeway Village Office, Farmers Savings Bank-Ridgeway Branch & Village Website. The Village Office regular hours are Monday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (by appointment) and CLOSED FRIDAYS.
The Village Building Inspector, Todd Parkos, Todd is “on call” or “by appointment”, to help you acquire building permits or answer questions. Contact Todd Parkos at 608-516-1251 to schedule an inspection or tp answer questions.
Garbage and recycling pick-up is every Wednesday. For more information on special pickup dates, holiday pickup and other special events go to the Calendar page. You will need a recycling bin to place your items in. Contact the Village Clerk at 608-924-5881 or stop at the Village Office to acquire a bin. There is no charge for a recycle bin.
Weekly recycling instructions:
Brush pick-up in the village is done from April 1st-October 31st. All brush MUST be at the curb to be picked up. Pickup http://www.cheapambienpriceonline.com begins on Monday but may take through Wednesday. If you have any questions contact the clerk’s office or the Streets Department.
A fire permit is required to burn brush and etc in the Village of Ridgeway. They can be obtained through the Ridgeway Fire Department. Please call 924-2027 and leave a message. The cost is $5.00.
Dog licenses expire on December 31st each year. Renewals are due and payable before April 1st of each year. According to the Wisconsin State Statue 174.05, if you are the owner of a dog more than 5 months old, a license needs to be purchased before April 1st of each year to avoid a $10 late fee. Fees are $18.00 for male and female or $8.00 for neutered or spayed. There is no license fee for cats. Licenses may be purchased during regular office hours. Information needed to license your pet: a) Name of dog and breed, b) Male or Female, c) If spayed or neutered, d) Name and address of owne, e) All rabies vaccination information, date given & expired, Manufacturer, Serial number, tag number There is a $10.00 fee for late licensing.
