Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP)

What is a CORP?

The Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) is used to guide the village in making decisions related to improvements at existing parks, new facilities, land acquisition, recreation trail extensions and improvements, and ADA requirements through the current year and into the future.

A five-year update to a community’s plan is also an eligibility requirement for any local unit of government seeking parkland acquisition and development funding through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
